Generating Buzz to Help Moneris Get Lucky in Vegas
To build their business in the US market, Moneris partnered with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) with plans to attend their annual conference in Las Vegas. But trade shows always pose the risk of vendors going unnoticed, and with heavy competition we needed something that would help put the odds in Moneris’ favor. To generate buzz we created an activation that had attendees “Bet on the Experts” when it comes to their electronic payments processing. The Vegas theme was carried out through all promotional materials, including takeaway USBs shaped like poker chips. The Vegas activation resulted in Moneris being one of the most talked about brands at the conference, generating over a thousand leads in less than 48 hours.
